General Surgery
Our two General Surgeons perform consultation and surgery on medical conditions involving the breast, endocrine system, gastrointestinal tract, colon, liver, pancreas and rectum once a week. LECC’s general surgeons are among the most experienced in the country having both performed more than 1,500 surgical procuedures.
Our Endoscopy Suite aids in effective diagnosis and appropriate disease management. Investigations we cater for include hysteroscopy (examination of the uterine cavity), cystoscopy (examination of the bladder) and upper GI cases (examination of the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract).
To put patients at ease and in a state of calm prior to the procedure, we administer a relaxant to minimise patients’ discomfort.
